Hijau Organik was created by a team of nature enthusiasts, through our discovery of Black Soldier Fly(BSF) we have found it as a crucial renewable source to create a sustainable future.
In recent years many European countries have converted to the use of BSF in Agriculture and Aquaculture for its circular economy solution. Meaning a farm can provide for itself and produce yield while fully utilizing its waste and byproducts.

AGRICULTURE PRODUCTS
Having began our testing and success in making vegetable grow in impossible soil conditions we found that despite everything we had trouble keeping the moisture of the ground due to high rock and clay content in the soil. We added many different kinds of soil in the market but they were not up to par with what we needed. Our hunt then began to find the perfect mix of soil compost that can convert the barren lands into an easily hospitable condition for healthy plants with minimal effort.
We looked into the European method of Horse Hay, Wheat Strands and Holland Peat Moss a combination that contains high nutrients and amazing water retention effect to sustain the four seasons.
We then looked into the effects of spent Cotton Seeds which is used to fertilize the soil after Cotton is extracted for thread and fabric production. It is found that most of the nutrients still remain in the casting (cotton burr)
Our final step was looking at the sea. Seaweed is able to absorb nutrients from a large variety of sources and is rich in many micro nutrients. Not only that they are exposed to many bacterias and other elements yet still stay strong with its natural resistance. Many research believes that seaweed contains natural chemicals that can help plants prevent harmful viruses and strengthen immunity.
From this research Hijau has now expanded its range to provide for various agricultural and farming needs. Including soil conditioners, foliar sprays, compost and natural pest repellent solutions.

We took on the task of farming in an ex mining land which was filled with rocks and clay. Many deemed the place unsuitable for farming and had abandoned the site. With a salvaged crop of withered vegetable plants from a neighbouring farmer who failed and moved. We tested our fertilizers and soil conditioner. Within 3 weeks our vegetables started bearing a huge load of produce and is multiplying till today.
Not only were they fruiting in abundance our produce was fresh and free from chemicals and substances. Thus we began our Produce division. With a humble half acre of land we are in schedule of producing multiple breeds of okras and aubergines and other melon vegetables.
